Guesthouse Macheiner – Your hosts

Our guesthouse is placed in the middle of the gorgeous alpine world in the sunny “healthy climate spa” Mariapfarr-Fanning, 1100m above sea-level, embedded in the romantic landscape in a sunny and quietly forest edge location.
Directly at the foot of the mountain “Fanningberg” – a ideal trailhead for different activities in the summer and winter.
Our house offers You an familiary atmosphere

• 2 beautiful comfortable doublerooms
• 2 appartments from 2-6 persons (30 to 70 m²)
• a completely furnished vacation house (160 m²) from 6 to 10 persons

After a relaxed and silent sleep You get into the elegant with native Swiss pine furnished breakfastroom, where a rich store of breakfast – self made jam, fruit juices, spreads, whole-grain pastries, yoghurt, cereals, fruits and product from our organic farmers – waits for you.
Furthermore wer offer a comfortable room with TV, a sauna, garage, car parking place and play equipment for children. At our marvellous sun terrace one can meet friends for chatting, barbecueing at an open-hearth fireplace or one can just relax in the beautiful silent garden. In close proximity (ca. 500m away) is a playground with a bathing pond.
To provide for the little guests we offer a crib, a highchair, games, play equipment, a swing, table tennis and many more.
The beautiful environment of Mariapfarr with it’s marvellous mountain panorama seduces You to relaxing rambling or mountain hikes and bike trips. Bright outlooks with rich green pastures, plenty of mountain lakes, gills and the waterfalls wait to be explored from You.
The proximity guarantees modern ski lifts and well-prepared pistes. Downhill skiing to our house is possible. A free skiing-bus (bus stop is ca. 50m away from the house) gets you to one of the plenty ski areas of the Lungau. You can start with cross-country skiing directly in front of the house to explore the over 200km skitrail network of the lungau.
By skiing tours You can find untouched snow even better!
